Re: Favorite novels

It's hard to pick one but Tolkien's Middle-earth books are my favorite. Nothing more perfectly captures everything I love (linguistics, big families, detailed history and geography, religious themes, medieval fantasy, elves, etc).

After that is probably The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis. I love Puddleglum and captured princes.
