Re: First world problems

I'm going to San Diego Comic Con for the twelfth year in a row. I live here, so I don't have to worry about hotel costs or anything. But I just checked my checking account balance, and it's pitiful. I don't even buy much at the con, usually, but I'd like to buy something.

I just got new glasses, paid next semester's tuition, the water bill's coming due, and I just took a bird to the vet--I used some of my savings for the glasses, tuition, and vet, and I'm thinking of dipping in so I can finish a con costume. But I feel guilty. It's my money to spend as I please, but I feel like I don't deserve to spend money on something so frivolous and I should just be grateful I get to go to the con at all. I have more than enough money in my savings and it would probably cost less than my glasses. Argh. Stupid anxiety. Stupid guilt.
