I really probably should give them another chance. I thought Minutes to Midnight was OK (I actually really like With Hands Held High), but I heard some of Thousand Suns when they were promoting it and just couldn't get into it.

You might like Hunting Party a bit more, as it's said they went back a bit more towards Hybrid Theory in style with that one.

Fwiw, while I enjoy all of their albums, A Thousand Suns had the least interesting first impression for me.
They do kinda go in a different direction musically for each album though :P

The Hunting Party is very guitar-driven (especially compared to A Thousand Suns and Living Things), and has guest artists on a few songs.
Living Things was more electronic, I think. Less focused on being "deep" than A Thousand Suns though (ie it's not a concept album).
