[Andrew Zimmern vs. Anthony Bourdain]

I don't know whether it's worse to be bald or have such ugly hair as the guy in the second pic. It's like the old man version of that horrible frosted hair from the late 90s/early 2000s.

Lol. Try a new shtick.

Anthony Bourdain has hair like a middle-aged lesbian.

I agree that Zimmern's show is better as a food show. I still think Bourdain has made some of the best American travel TV in recent memory, though.

I recently started watching Parts Unknown on Netflix. I got up to season 2, episode 6 (I think) where he was in Tokyo. And I'm like... where is the food? Why are you trying to understand Japanese culture with tentacles and love? I liked the first season. Now, not so much.

I agree, though I haven't watched either much recently. From what I recall, Andrew was always enthusiastic about trying new foods, no matter how unusual, and getting to know a culture. Anthony seemed much more...like he wanted to prove how smart/cool he was. Sometimes that involved food, sometimes not, IIRC. If I ever got to meet one of them it would have to be Andrew. He's got the enthusiasm I can really appreciate.

Anthony Bourdain is a giant douchebag. So yeah, Andrew definitely wins over him.

You know Andrew Zimmern is a great host when he can make fried spiders, haggis, and pig intestine soup sound like something I'd legit eat.

(for CNN, lol!)

This unexpected clowning on CNN has brightened my shitty day, so thanks. lolol

I agree. I liked Bourdain's earlier work but really, I'm watching for the food, not his thoughts about the politics or the culture so much. At least, I'm not interested in seeing a whole program of just those things and hardly any food.

Lol Bourdain is such a tryhard edgelord, Zimmern 5ever
