I cannot tell you the number of times people spells Steve Rogers last name as Rodgers. I was listening to a fairly popular podcast where people discuss comic books and movie news. These are people who've been reading comics for decades. And in the summary, they spelled his name as Rodgers. Why???

I also can't stand all the movies that say people only use like 50% of their brain so when they use ALL of it they get superpowers. Most annoying is Lucy. Least annoying is Matilda. But that is probably based on when I first watched them.

The 'we only use 10% of our brain' thing is one of my biggest fiction pet peeves, and it turns up a surprising amount despite the fact that it's complete bullshit.

The movie Limitless had this premise and it annoyed me but the main dude 'unlocking' the rest of his brain at least didn't give him god-like super powers, it just made him super smart, which is still bs but more tolerable bs for me.

Haha, I've only seen that bit in the movie but I think it's similar? Either way it works for me since it's not taking itself seriously anyway.
