I remember that Lea Michele had some sort of necklace with Cory Monteith's name on it or something, and for weeks after he died people stalked pictures of her going 'SHE'S NOT WEARING IT. I knew it, she never really loved him, their whole relationship was a sham, how dare she use his death for media attention."

Oh, good lord, seriously?

I do remember reading a bit online about people doubting their relationship after he died-poor girl couldn't win either way, it seemed. If she talked about him or tried to honor him, she's trying to get sympathy for herself. If she doesn't, she didn't really love him.

Just ugh. I hope for her sake she didn't stumble across any of that crap online.

Yeah the fandom was absolutely insane, that's around when I started to cut out.
