Housecats are practically impossible to train. And they also have skulls that are largely eyesockets. I am liking my "housecats with wings" analogy quite a lot now.

Cats are just about intelligent enough to be cats, if that makes sense. They are not generally that interested in whatever human beings try to get them to do. Not that bright, kind of stubborn, but they do observe a lot and learn.
