45. He was uncolored for forever. People got used to it. Not to mention, ever seen him in the Kira game for DS? He has GREY-BLUE HAIR and BLUE STRIPES. Even the fucking COPYRIGHT OWNERS can't make up their damn minds about what colors he is! Just think of him as a rainbow or one of those people who dyes his hair every few weeks and get over it.
53. Why don't we just say "all cosplayers who put more than two days' worth of effort into their costumes and do justice to the character--keep it up!" Because really. It's silly to promote one particular size of a cosplayer just because they're that size. Show me someone who has an awesome costume and stays true to the character and regardless of their size I'll respect them.
55. Awp, you=me. I have this awesome idea for a, AU HET fanfic, of all things for sexist me to write, and I'm scared to post it under my name because I don't actually ship the characters together, and I have yet to come up with a good idea for me OTP. I just really like my idea for THOSE TWO and especially the revenge!scenes that would ensue...gah, fanfic writing has left me in despair.

I just wanted to make sure the twiggy folks knew that they were loved too, because there's been a LOT of skinny!hate going around lately.

I mean, I'll admit I've been horrified of a few obese cosplayers, but mainly because they weren't dressed well and their costumes were bad. If the costume is awesome and the person is really big OR extremely skinny, then I tend to downplay the "importance" of size and commend them on their hard work. I'd rather see an amazing overweight Shiva than a shitty super-skinny one. I'd rather see an epic flat-chested Naga than a crappy busty one. You can't always control what you look like, but you CAN control what you put on and the effort you put into something.
That said, there was fat!hate going around not too long ago. It's funny how fickle the interweb can be, innit?
