Not in those exact words, but they make passive-aggressive comments about how it's sooooo hard to find femslash because fandom is full of shallow straight girls with internalized misogyny and double standards boo hoo (implying that if you're not into femslash, you fit that description, so if you want to stop being shallow and having internalized misogyny you better start liking girl on girl right now).

Yes, really. Yes, I know the slash community is much bigger. And the small femslash community is very vocally annoying about it. The slash community may be annoying, but they don't shit on femslash like the femslash fans do with slash, they just don't care about it (and some even like a bit of it). The femslash fans sure like to pretend they do, though.

I think, when the two fandoms are of their relative sizes, it's only natural that slash fans are going to mostly ignore femslash (because femslash is tiny) and femslash fans are going to be extremely aware of slash one way or the other (because slash is everywhere in fan spaces).

I've seen slash fans say a lot of questionable things about femslash over the years...so I'm still calling bull.
I still don't see why femslash fans critiquing femslash and wanting better quality is such a terrible thing all of a sudden...but okay.
