...even though this is more the 8-bit era stuff--I loved when the sort of "space-y" levels had that low gravity effect that made you have to be much more careful with your jumps.

In more modern games (PS1/PS2)...ah, the little reflections you would get in ice, especially in games like Spyro. *heart*

And nowadays, the little tics I see for characters in things like Ace Attorney, man...
