Re: Graduated people of F!S, what do you miss about college/university?

I miss having all my food paid for months in advance and prepared for me daily, even though it's expensive and I'm a good cook. It was convenient.

I miss that learning was my actual occupation, not something to do in my spare time.

I miss living in a place where every place I needed to go was not more than a convenient 15-minute walk away.

I miss being able to wear whatever the hell I liked day in and day out.

I am ecstatic to finally be making money and finally working on the debt I've incurred.

I like living with only one other person, who I picked specially.

I like knowing what every month will bring. I get along with my coworkers, and we have little turnover. I don't miss starting new classes and praying for a good prof/classmates who aren't shitheads.

So much this. Plus 8 hour work-days doing a repetitive task exhausts you in a very particular way so I don't often feel up to it when I DO have time.
