I agree that it ought not be important but I do get sick of feeling like I don't belong in public and like Im disgusting and all that. And also, I am lonely.

I don't know I'm just frustrated as usual.

Hey, I have my fair share of insecurities as well! It can be hard not to put yourself down when you constantly measure yourself against other people, so the best thing to do is just...stop it. (Easier said than done, but any progress is still progress!) It isn't fair and it isn't helping anything.

And, okay, I don't know about you, but I've never looked at someone and thought, "Wow, they're so ugly they shouldn't be in public" or "they're so ugly they can't have any worth as a person." That's just cruel as fuck, and if you wouldn't think that about someone else, you shouldn't think it about yourself either.

Totally understand not being completely comfortable with yourself, though. I lost half my body weight and I still worry about my weight, but honestly...if someone being attracted to you is such a big deal, maybe feel better with the knowledge that there are tons of people who couldn't be with someone they didn't genuinely like as a person. (Despite appearances.)

"don't belong in public" is so me. I live in a fancy neighborhood with rich beautiful people (or so it seems to me) which doesn't help. So I feel you.
