Same OP! But then I also didn't ship Brittana or Clexa so I'm kind of used to being a lesbian pariah... you get used to it. Sort of.

I'm the anon who posted the secret about not seeing the chemistry between Charlie and Dorothy.

So I feel you on this one.

I see no problem with that? They are supposed to "canonically" be friends, so if lesbian vibes don't come through, it just means they're playing it more as written, or something about the subtext (if any) just doesn't appeal to you/work for you. Some people feel differently, or see things differently, or just want it to be there. No worries.

I just don't think anyone who calls you a "bad lesbian" for not shipping two canon-straight females (rather than, say, a canon lesbian couple) is right. Obviously if you WANT to ship it, that's cool, but anyone who thinks you HAVE to...they should rethink their priorities.

I shipped them like woe in the first few seasons, but lately, whatever chemistry was there has vanished. I believe the rumours are that the leads don't get along as much anymore (it's always that rumour for any show, right?) so they aren't deliberately playing up the subtext like they were earlier.

Ship or not, I'm just glad there haven't been boyfriends lately. It's nice to see a female-led show where the focus isn't on them needing a man in their life. (With only half a dozen eps left, there isn't much time for them to develop anything either!)
