It's not that I disagree with your argument but I have to say that "they're all fucking scum" seems like a little too far to go, especially when we're talking about a blockbuster film series.

Anyone physically attacking women, sure. But we're not talking about that, we're talking about people who don't like a movie with female characters in it. Which is really stupid! I'm not defending them! I'm just saying that your reaction here seems disproportionate on first glance, and I'm curious about where you're coming from and why it makes you feel so strongly.

They don't like a movie BECAUSE it has female leads. That is an attack on women. I feel strong;y about it because as a women I am constantly under attack by these kinds of males, and I don't think we should give them even the sliver of acceptance of pretending they are not attacking women and are utter human garbage for doing it.
