I just got around to binging Lucifer. I must admit I enjoyed it a lot more than thought I would. For some reason a lot of the fans make it out to be this grimdark angstfest, but it is not. It is really reminiscent of one of those offbeat 90s era "odd couple" police shows. She's a separated mom, he's the lazy lord of Hell; together they fight crime. Their strongest weapon? Her unflinching devotion to the truth, his incredibly fantastic looking ass.

It is really quite funny and upbeat. Outlander on the other hand turned out to be dullsville. I'll take much more of the former.

Nothing the pre-dates Due South. That is the earliest I'll go, so yeah old shows I'll take. New shows too, if there are any.

I just meant old as in not currently airing. Please watch The Finder, its really good but you have to watch it in the production order, not the broadcast order.

I am the fundamentalist Christian that Richard Dawkins warned you about, and I love the shit out of this show even though I probably shouldn't.

I don't see why you shouldn't. Its version of Lucifer is not so different from the "God's prosecutor" of the Old Testament. I suppose you could get upset by Amenadiel (sp?) or Lucifer's mom thing from the finale. Comics fans care to weigh in on that one?
