Typically morning, because if I am going out somewhere I want to be fresh and un-smelly.

Night baths can happen though, usually in extremes of temperature. In summer I don't want to go to bed sweaty, and hope to cool down just a bit - enough at least that I can fall asleep. In winter I want to go to bed warm and not be laying awake shivering, even under my blankets.

Summer is also the season for more random "I feel manky, I need to wash" baths in the middle of the day, because I don't have air-con.
