Please explain how the 'system' benefits women over men?

Where do you live? America? Alright, I'll go with the USA, then (it doesn't matter, unless you're in somewhere like Norway, pretty all countries are the same).

What is 'the system'? The political system?

In 2015, 104 (76D, 28R) women hold seats in the United States Congress, comprising 19.4% of the 535 members; 20 women (20%) serve in the United States Senate, and 84 women (19.3%) serve in the United States House of Representatives. (http://www.cawp.rutgers.edu/women-us-congress-2015)

In other words, men hold the power politically and financially (Women currently hold 23 (4.6%) of CEO positions at S&P 500 companies (http://www.catalyst.org/knowledge/women-ceos-sp-500).

How does the 'system' benefit women when it is overwhelmingly run by men? I can list other examples. The majority of main characters, in films, in any given year will be men. Men will also overwhelmingly be given more speaking roles than women. (http://www.vox.com/2016/4/9/11393674/gender-in-film-dialogue-survey).

Women are oversexualised to the point now that little girls as young as three are worried that they are 'fat'. (https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/overcoming-child-abuse/201203/the-sexualization-women-and-girls). Women, in society are pretty much told that they are to be 'seen' and not heard.

If a woman does speak out, she will be villified, in a far more serious manner than a man does. (Men don't tend to get rape and death threats, when speaking about issues).

Women are more likely to be killed by their partner, in intimate violence. Men also overwhelmingly kill other men, too (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1635092).

Women, as a whole, don't hate men.

"Men are frightened that women are going to laugh at them. Women are frightened that men are going to kill them." Margaret Atwood.

Men aren't bad. But yes the system is. The system is the thing that needs to change.

You can hate women, but it's not going to change anything. In fact, it will only make things worse.

Women are less likely to get punished for the same crimes as men. There are also incidents where men raped by women have to pay child support to their abusers. Then there are court biases when it comes to child custody.

The court biases when it comes to child custody are overwhelmingly in favour of men when they actually opt to file for custody. The reason the gross number of custody verdicts grant women primary custody is because the vast majority of men neither file for custody nor protest the woman's suit.
