I've always liked them, whether they have deep meaning, pretty art, or just whimsy. But the only thing I've seriously wanted as a tattoo long-term is a romantic thing, which is clearly taunting fate to break up my SO and I.

So tell me what you've got, if you have ink, or what you'd like if you were to get any?

No. I'd love to get one. I want a Chinese dragon down my arm. But I have a very low pain tolerance, so I'm pretty sure I couldn't handle getting one. But I love the way they look on other people.

You never know. The outer arm isn't that bad - mostly it feels like someone scratching a sunburn. If you go in small sections at a time, you could probably do it.

Sadly, no. At this rate, I'm not going to get them until I'm 60, lol.

I'd LOVE to get some though. I always wanted the Autobot and Decepticon symbols either on my shoulders or lower back, around the kidney area.

I also wouldn't mind a Dragonball or two.

Also, a Darwin fish on my wrist or forearm.

No, I don't. I'm getting old enough that "possibly converting to Judaism and getting buried in a Jewish cemetery" is no longer a serious consideration, but the truth is, I find tats kind of silly now.

I got a few when I was young and one new one a few years ago. I'd get rid of all of them but my first one and the new one*, tbh, but I'm keeping them anyway. They're all a part of me.

*Theyre not bad, I'm just tired of them. Think carefully about getting one, is my advice.

I have a little symbol on my left shoulder. My right shoulder is reserved for something else.

I'd love to get a full back done as well but... time, expense, etc.

I'd like to get a Star of Fëanor in a circle. Preferably in a spot where I can look at it, because I find the idea of a tatt I can't see rather useless.

I'd also consider a Grey Warden Griffon, preferably holding the aforementioned Star of Fëanor in a circle. It would be a lot more complex though.

I have "Pity the ignorance of the enemies of art," a paraphrase from The Princess Bride (the novel, not the movie) on my ribcage underneath my right breast.

I have Bastet on my hip/upper thigh. I figured while I may fall in and out of love with fandom things, I've loved cats my whole life and I've always liked the way the art looks.

I have never reached the conditions I have set for myself for getting inked, but if I do, I intend to get the Legion of Superheros logo on my right bicep (it's got multiple significances for me).

I've also got a few ideas for if I ever get to the place where I can go back to school (based on things I'd like to study, if time and money permit - a dinosaur skull, for paleo, a scroll for linguistics).

I also have an upper left arm (shoulder to elbow) of a realistic blue jay on a flowering branch, with a bee. Also a lower abdomen piece, mostly just Much-inspired line work.
