Not surprising, as they said they were going down this route.

I really wish they'd reconsider the 73 hour cap though. I don't mind fewer episodes, or having to wait 11-12 months, but it'd be nice if they could at least fit in an extra 20 minutes per episode or something.

But that said I get it. GRRM is probably going to take another three years with his book, and they don't want the series to be over before then.

GRRM still has two books left. I would put the series to be ending in about 10 years or so.

Well I would just assume that the whole thing takes a hiatus after Winds of Winter is released.

...Or he dies before he finishes. There's always that one.
