The government is ALWAYS hiring in my city. Because government employees are constantly moving around to different positions.

Yes I do have depression and anxiety and medication is really helpful.

Sometimes I wonder how differently my college career would have turned out if I had already been in treatment for my mental illnesses before I started instead of being blindsided by a sudden downswing after years of denial and becoming a paranoid shut-in.

I wish I had not gone to college in SC. I should have immediately moved to Oklahoma when I graduated high school.

Trolling is only funny if it's done right, and you will come to regret spending so much time trying to make people annoyed or upset.

I'm not sure any additional info would've helped me 10 years ago. Maybe more like 20... of course, the damage had already been done then too, but I still might've had a chance to be a competent adult with any real friends and a career I work hard at and appreciate (or at least working toward something in the field).

Make that 12 years ago for me. I could've went to summer school, finished the fucking credit I was behind in, and gone to college at 18 instead of getting my GED at 23, trying to get into college at 25, and being forced out a few months later because you're family just doesn't care when it comes to your education.

You have ADD. See a shrink, get some drugs, magically gain the ability to focus for more than 12 seconds, stop failing everything.

That there was a reason I spent my three-month New York paid internship with cheap housing holed up in my room (depression!), and I would strongly regret it if I went back to the Midwest having barely experienced anything there.

That stomach pain isn't food poisoning. It was your gallbladder and you were right when you were screaming 'get me to a fucking hospital'. Because that gallbladder and all the gallstones with it needed to be out YEARS AGO.

It's going to feel like someone tore your heart in half and you won't be able to stop crying for a few days when your White Knight (a pet name for your beloved Westie) just doesn't come home from the vet

You will never, ever be able to turn your fandom of one into a fandom of two so don't bother trying. Just forget it exists.
