Re: Help!

I realize Thrawn is coming back, which is why I think I just might start fresh with the new book and not have the baggage of the old one. I actually really like Force Awakens so I don't want to pretend it didn't happen. I don't mind if the book is bad if it has good worldbuilding. I'm really interested in the First Order. Doesn't Aftermath deal with them? Where does Bloodline occur? I would like to read them in some kind of order to get the most out of them.

Thanks!

Bloodline occurs about 6 years prior to TFA. Honestly the timeline feels a little weird with that, but it's never explicitly stated in the book the year. There's a bit of mention of the First Order but the book is pretty much Leia's story, with a little bit of Han and some new characters not seen in the movie.

Like I said, I can't get through Aftermath, it just doesn't pull me in and I can't handle the writing style. It may deal a bit with the First Order, but I couldn't tell you.

Lost Stars takes place primarily before A New Hope through Return of the Jedi. It deals more with the Rebellion and the Empire.

Hope this helps.
