Re: What is the most sheltered/spoiled thing you've ever heard someone say?

Sounds like they'd get along great with one of my coworkers, on getting back from a Caribbean cruise: "the people just weren't very picturesque. Everything was dirty." Also "Trump is so vulgar. But at least he's not Hillary." Oh, and, "Of course it would be nice if everyone could have free healthcare. But I don't see why I should help pay for it." On learning I was an atheist: "So that's what's wrong with you." She also wouldn't let her teenage daughter's mother-daughter book club read The Fault in Our Stars, because the main characters, both teens with terminal cancer, have consensual sex. But they read The Hunger Games and sequels. She was not happy when I pointed out they contained government sanctioned forced prostitution/sex slavery-- "Of course you'd notice that," as though it's not kind of a major Finnick side plot and way more horrifying than two kids who think they're gonna die having sex.

Wow. She sounds...charming. I feel for you having to put up with her.

The cruise thing reminds me of when my aunt and uncle returned from a trip to Hawaii a couple years or so back. Apparently my aunt was kinda disappointed because "the islands seemed so...modern".
