Personally I find it funny.

That's fair. I still like it, but I suppose I can just mentally divorce it from people using it for characters I think are dickbags? I mean, when people do that, I just put it in the same mental box as said characters being called innocent babies, presh, whatever the heck else.

I thought people were doing that ironically. Like, they knew he was a crazy mofo and they just applied the meme to him for kicks and giggles.

Are you telling me there are people out there who actually believe Kylo's a pure cinnamon roll? That's messed up.

The idea of someone being outraged over a person being undeservedly considered a "pure cinnamon roll" is cracking me up right now. Even though I know you're not that serious.

I'm not really outraged, just disturbed. Dude killed his dad. That is not pure cinnamon roll worthy behavior.

It's a meme. It isn't meant to be serious about characterization.

No shit. People finds memes annoying when done in excess. Like turning characters into a one-note joke by recycling it over and over again until there is nothing left.

I like the meme, it's cute. But only applied to *actually* nice and likable or innocent people.

There are people who use that meme unironically? I'm not sure what worries me more- that there are people who think Kylo Ren is a cinnamon roll or that there are people who think I'm serious when I call Dean Ambrose a precious murder cupcake.

Of course there are people who use it unironically. Fangirls have a tendency of baby-ing male characters, particularly villain characters. If they show even a tiny hint of something tragic happening to them then they are absolved of all their sins and worthy of defense squads and all that.

People apply the cinnamon roll meme to fucking Kylo? God, his fanbase is more delusional, insane, and cancerous than even Loki's.

Ew. How dare they insult that cinnamon roll by comparing it to Kylo.

The only time I ever felt that meme applied to a character was when I played the Mage Origin of Dragon Age: Origins again. I thought it was rather fitting for Cullen back when he ran away from a female PC flirting with him.

The only time I ever thought it was fitting was when I saw it applied to Tommen from GoT

To me, the only ones truly worthy of the cinnamon bun title are Centipeedle and Cole from Dragon Age Inquisition.

Yeah. I say it sometimes when it's about a genuinely innocent and kind character, but I am getting sick of fannish baby talk. Especially teenage to twenty-something women calling every male character their sons. Fuck off.

I hate all those gifsets of "looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you" etc. and they always get it fucking wrong.

That's one disgusting looking cinnamon roll.
