You should watch the 1990s Merlin miniseries. Not only is it good in its own right, you will be amazed at how well Martin Short can pull off flowing blond locks.

None that I've ever seen, and I've searched - I actually disliked the BBC Merlin series for a long time, sight unseen, simply because it made trying to find anything on the 1998 mini-series that much harder. Dumb, and I have relented and watch (and loved it and the fanfiction), but true. Unfortunately, there simply wasn't the kind of fandom online back then for smaller series like there is now. Plus a lot will have been lost due to being on personal websites on free services that have since died. The Wayback Machine is a wonderful thing, but you can't hunt for fic on it!
