This is not only about fandom btw. Neo nazis are there. MRAs are there. Pro-ana groups are there. The reblogging structure itself without a proper commenting system lends to these groups happening and facts often never being corrected on a much larger scale than blog sites like LJ or DW ever did.

This is also a major problem - not just with those crazy fringe groups but with information sharing in general. Bad information is disseminated so quickly on tumblr, and when you share a post, you have no way of being notified of corrections to the original post (not even necessarily the one you shared!) so bad info stays out there forever.
