I love Imhotep, he's a great bad-guy but he is still completely willing to straight up murder people for his own personal reasons, and sure, culture difference and what not but it's still murder.
Doesn't make him any less fun of a character, Ankhesenamun too, but neither of them are good people.
(I love these movies to death, the first one especially, but every time I watch it and they're cursing him at the beginning I'm just like WHY, IT'S SUCH A BAD IDEA, like it's the dumbest curse to put on another person, lol).

(Oh my god yes. Sometimes I wonder what Ardeth was thinking during the movie, and my guess is it's something like "fuck my life".)

But yeah, they're kind of obnoxious but that doesn't warrant death via soul-sucking.
(He has the worst life, he basically spends it cleaning up after some stupid dead Ancient Egyptians, I hope he retired somewhere nice and got a new bird, he deserves it).

(I KNOOOOWWWW, it's the worst part of the second movie, just why? WHY THE BIRD?? Okay Evie's 'death' is also upsetting the first time because I didn't know she was going to come back, but the bird doesn't! THE BIRD DESERVED LIFE TOO).
