I like to see Princess Celestia get bashed because the OOC shit she does in bashing fics is often the same as the OOC shit she does in fics that are trying to make her "cool" and "gritty." I'd prefer canon Celestia, but I can get behind evil tyrant Celestia if the fic actually acknowledges that those actions make someone an evil tyrant.
