Once Upon a Time. I thought that after the first season, we'd get to see what happens when a bunch of petty kings are crammed into one small town and all their former subjects have spent the last almost 30 years as nominal citizens of a representative democracy, and have some characters decide they were happier in a world with antibiotics and tv than one with unicorns and ogres. And I thought the core cast's struggles would focus on mending and making family relationships as much as romance.
