There's actually a series of guns by Springfield Armory with the XD title. I can't take it seriously 'cuz of internet emoticon slang.

(Not that XD as an emoticon bugs me, it doesn't... I just don't see the XD in the gun name as "eXtreme Duty.")

They really should acronym that as ED. Accurate both of the full title, and of the reason most gun nuts are gun nuts.
