I agree it's really uncomfortable. Jesse in particular, I'm pretty sure the entire premise of the show is how much he gets shit on and kicked around, and it was hard as fuck to watch Walter manipulate him.

Yup. It's really really hard to watch sometimes, especially when you watch Walt systematically and needlessly destroy any happiness or self confidence Jesse scrounges up. It can get so creepy and intrusive.
