Is the woman in the pic supposed to be an example of a larger woman? Corsets can smooth a lot of things out, but she ain't larger than most women in popular media.

nayrt, but that looks like Tara from Buffy. And while Tara is by no means a "large" woman, all of the other women on that show were tiny, so she did look larger, with a curvier figure. She's definitely not large, but all the others were definitely "small and skinny".

Exactly, most people IRL would never call Tara (Amber Benson) large. She was curvier, that's all. Still pretty slender by any normal standard.
