- Inara/Kaylee feels really obvious and good to me. Simon/Kaylee is alright as well, but not as good as Inara/Kaylee.

- I feel like either of the Tams work really with Mal, but not together. There's just a nice dynamic with their uptightness (Simon) or weirdness (River) that Mal can ground. In a way, it's the inverse of his relationship with Inara, which I don't much care for.

- I love Zoe, but the problems with shipping with anyone is that (a) Wash exists and (b) they're not good enough for her. Especially Mal.

I liked Kaylee/Jayne until learning too much about a certain cast member soured things for me.

I've always liked the idea of Inara/Simon together.


Oh, and I never considered Mal/Simon before and now it's making me want to find some fanfic.
