I remember owning little legwarmers and stirrup pants.

I mean...STIRRUP PANTS? Why the fuck did those even exist?

Yep, I wore stirrup pants, too, LOL. And Keds with the big, scrunchy socks. It was like some sort of collective insanity.

Stirrup pants I could see being handy if you lived somewhere really cold and you wear over-pants and don't want your leggings getting rucked up your legs.

Not gonna lie, kinda wish I had a pair in winter these days.

Legwarmers, stirrup pants (I remember my mom made some by taking regular leggings and sewing on pieces of elastic, which were not NEARLY as cool as the ones with the actual "stirrups" of fabric on the sides of the feet.) Scruncy socks, keds. Acid-washed denim EVERYTHING (including my favorite mini-skirt, which had then been dyed pink).

Good times.
