Star Trek

- Spock/McCoy was and probably always will be my single favourite Trek ship. Mostly original flavour, though I'll read AOS fic very happily as well. I just have so much love for the whole "I disagree with every word you ever said and I will never compliment you to your face if I can help it but I admire you so much and by god I will die for you at the drop of a hat" thing they had going.

- Despite this, I kind of multiship McCoy a little bit. With Uhura, mostly, and also oddly with Khan (TOS only), because I just like McCoy being warm and brittle and defiant at people.

- I would like Kirk/Spock/McCoy more if McCoy didn't get kind of shafted by it in quite a lot of the fic. McCoy is my favourite. This may be obvious.

- Going away from TOS for a bit, I had an odd thing for Garak/Odo over on DS9, almost purely because of that pair of episodes where Garak ended up having to torture Odo and so very clearly did not want to. I don't think there is any fic for this pair at all (if there is, send it my way!), but it's an idea that's fascinated me for a while.

- In the vein of oddball ships, I saw a fanvid once for Shran/Soval from ENT, and I actually really like the idea. I was in ENT mostly for the Vulcans and the Andorians anyway, and those two have the whole honourable enemies thing going for them, which I do really, really like.

I love Spock/McCoy too. I started shipping them after reading an excellent fic called Amok Again. McCoy is my favorite, and I share your feelings regarding Kirk/Spock/McCoy where it's only good if McCoy isn't a third wheel, which is hard to find. For the new films, I ship McCoy/Kirk too but it's mostly TOS McCoy for me.

For DS9, I've read a lot of Garak/Bashir but my OTP is Sisko/Bashir. I love Odo, and I think the person I would probably ship him with is Quark but I never really shipped him with anyone when watching the show.
