(Anonymous) 2016-07-23 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)Josh is the kid we never saw, but we heard a lot about him in the episode where he died because Wesley's flight squad was trying a banned maneuver that would have looked really awesome if it had worked.
When I was a kid, I adored Wesley, but as an adult I feel like a lot of the time Wil Wheaton was just too earnest in everything (or maybe just not a good enough actor to elevate the material he was given), but he sold the fuck out of Wesley's grief over Josh and the way he talked about him just made me think they were more than friends.
It's one of my rare pairs, but the last time I mentioned it here somebody crawled up my ass because "We don't know ANYTHING ABOUT JOSH! YOU JUST WANT WES/SELF-INSERT OC!"
