18.) Soba ni Oitene is one of the best yaoi series to exist. It is so fucking adorable it makes me twist in knots and vomit unicorns and rainbows and heart doodlies. Sakuragi Yaya is just awesome no matter what she does, however.

Not doujins in my case but nevertheless a shitload of fan materials - I'm really wanting to watch it just for Kaiba and Yugi and the lol moments (Kaiba summons a fucking GAMEPAD with a card), but I'm starting to think I can get away by watching bits and pieces here and there...
It IS bloody long! I guess I'll just sit here and let others do the work of summing it up (I've watched videos of people compiling all the pretty scenes of Kaiba by episode artist, one that compiles almost all his "fnnn" sounds through the whole show, one that neatly explains the Egypt arc in less than 5 minutes...)

YES. All three of those combined make up the reason I want to watch the show. And Kaiba's magically floating cape. I saw a clip of that gamepad scene--it was a MAD video where they looped him shouting, "ABBABBABBABBA!" over and over again. I need to find that. M

ost of the series is so ridiculously insane and farfetched (not to mention quality!), but hey, KAIBA AND HIS COAT MAKE UP FOR IT. (Also, I'm just going to assume things like the gamepad card were just added to the deck by Pegasus, considering I... don't think ancient Egypt had gamepads they fought with.)

The second pair don't make much sense without a video though, but basically in the first one Kaiba, Jounouchi and Bakura are raping Alternative Yugi with Commands and in the second one is normal Yugi going batshit with retribution. YE-AH.

No problem! I'm really glad you enjoyed the FNNing. I think I've decided what I'll do - see what are the most popular, famous episodes and watch ONLY those just to see what the shit is going on. Particularly the ones with very sexy drawings and the most batshit things going on (I have to see that one where Kaiba was screaming so much it sounded like he said "ORE NO DAAAAAAAAA" instead of ORE NO TURN.) Oh, and that episode from the stupid Doma arc where King Yugi ends up crying because who doesn't want to see cuddly evil Yugi crying even if it's ridiculously OOC. ;~;

And I meant it when I said I've ~~invested~~ ~~wasted~~ invested WAY too much time on Yugioh MADs - I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing but I've seen 10/12 of the ones you listed before on niconico/youtube (most of them were originally posted on nico, I think).
...Seriously these Japanese fans are simultaneously BATSHIT and AWESOME. (Not to discount the other countries' fandom's efforts - YGO Abridged was another big reason why I even thought Yugioh was okay to watch.) And just when I thought they'd stop making DM MADs and focus on 5D's (already there's a great one lampooning the "Q: Where did you get that G-Foil from?" "A: OI. LET'S DUEL" scene in the first episode) but NOOOO someone made a Kaiba-centered rap of the Lucky Star OP (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=kNJphRJvIRM). IT NEVER STOPS. And I should have gotten tired of it by now seeing that I've probably seen the same DM scenes enough time to count as an entire episode, but... somehow, one does not tire easily of Kaiba. Nope.
This is the only way I know about the various crap that happens in the show, fan-made stuff. OTL (I know next to nothing about the card game though, and that probably won't ever change)

(People who go to a certain popular anime forum could easily guess who I am by now, but I just can't bring myself to post with my actual account instead of sounding like some creepy obsessed lifeless crazed fangirl because that would be like officially accepting the addiction. :>)

1. Cue obligatory remark about dreams with naked Kaiba. :D That's a parody of the Moetan transformation sequence that infamously showed a NAKED LOLI ON TV (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=QYTMwIYNIM0) (yes, really) - that is, on Aichi TV (the parody of what they showed on Osaka TV is this (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=Yz09wrbhrpE))

2. You have no idea how many times I did watching this ;_; SO MUCH KISARA AND CUTE, CUTE KAIBA (I also love that shot of Yugi's off-the-wall evil grin near the end) I particularly love where Kaiba is showing his refusal to cheerlead :3 ♥ ♥ ♥ Yeah, it is a lot better than the coloured guy's one though.

3. Okay, I've never seen this one before but I'm pooping rainbows now. It turns out it's a parody of some bishoujo game, Jiburiru The Devil Angel (along with Popotan and Nurse Witch Komugi replacing the tentac- I mean, naughty bits) I just love it every time they show Bakura with Pikachu (yeah we all like to be reminded that Bakura and Ash have the same seiyuu) and why is that Plue thing from RAVE there?

4. OYOME NI SHINASAI IS ONE OF THE CUTEST PIECES OF SHIT OUT THERE. The original Flash (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=jkIl1HD3BS4) is one of those famous IOSYS Touhou flashes (arguably the most famous is Marisa wa Taihen na Mono wo Nusundekimashita (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=32kVVKT-2v0) but Udongein, Usatei and the audio-only U.N. Owen etc. are ridiculously popular too) There's actually a Kisara (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=EZWf6tQPVX0) version of this too! Though it's a bit off-sync on youtube. In some ways it's less interesting but it fits more in a way because the Japanese keep joking about Blue Eyes being Kaiba's "bride" (cue Seto no Hanayome pun) and the song's called "I order you to be my bride!"... and there's 3 Kisaras and so on. There's even Red Eyes Black Dragon~

5. This was one of the earlier Yugioh MADs I watched!! I love this one too because I always get a kick out of seeing anyone drawn in Evangelion style. Yuugi and Malik share the same seiyuu here too... heh. I particularly like Mokuba and Jounouchi (this MAD made me re-evaluate him in fact). But WHY is Kaiba Misato :(

6. It already has ;_; I like how they packed in "My head went PAAN" at the end although it is delightfully jarring to see Yugi's head consumed by that silly star hairstyle

7. I love this to bits too, so much in fact that I've run out of things to say. Okay, Seto is really hot and we all know that... and it's also done by the person who did the Evangelion video up there! I would definitely not have the patience to draw as many frames as was required for this (and the numerous other SZS parodies). Secretly I'm just glad they didn't draw Yugi pregnant at the end...

9. I'm ridiculously envious of how good the artist is. Ridiculously. I'd have used the pictures as icons if I wasn't so damn embarassed about liking the show already.

10. Not much of a Geass fan, but I quite liked Jounouchi in this too. I only wish the panning was a bit better. Also WTF Mokuba, WTF. I really would have done anything to see what Mokuba looked like in GX, considering how droolsome his brother is... Personally I like the Tokyo Underground (http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=2RKkC_zjLUY) OP that I saw in the Related section, it makes me think of what Yugioh would look like if it was handled by some of my favourite animators.

And the movement is just sooooo smooth... I can only stare on in awe. On niconico it apparently made some guys into fangirls too, it's that good and popular. That bit where Yugi is opening his eyes... I can see it again and again (not suddenly-explosively-sexy Kaiba though, even I can't take it without laughing all my saliva out.)
Seriously I think the author is (or should be!) an animator, at least an in-between one, because that's a helluva lot of frames and some are actually original. God, if Kaiba looked like that most episodes (or even just for an OVA) I would buy it. Even if the story was utter shit (who cares, really).

...Great, there went another afternoon, melting into the sunset with a fart and a laugh.
