TOS is my least favorite of the the Trek series I've seen so far, but I do enjoy it and I really love the characters. And I actually really like their friendship, I just can't stand it as a romantic ship.

Oh, OK. I actually mostly agree.

But the expressions Bill Shatner and DeForrest Kelley often pulled were...something. I don't know what they were going for.

I love TOS, but I've never shipped anyone in it. I've been watching reruns since I was a baby and as a kid I didn't have a strong interest in pairing characters off. I only vaguely ship anyone in the reboot (and I tend towards Kirk/McCoy and Spock/Uhura, and I'm not really invested in either of those).

Anyway, it's legit not to ship them all together. Personally, I really don't see it.

Liking poly ships doesn't mean you have to like all poly ships, even if they're popular or involve famous characters. I like slash ships and Kirk/Spock has always held zero interest for me even though I know it's the grandaddy of slash ships.

Welp, I don't ship them together either, but it's extremely rare for me to find poly ships I like. Idk why, I'm not against it in theory, but usually one “side” of the ship doesn't work for me. Here it would be Bones/Spock. I have nothing against it and they have a wonderful relationship, I just don't ship it. (I do hardcore ship Kirk/Spock, and totally understand the appeal of Kirk/Bones.)

See i'm the opposite. I ship Spock/Bones like burning but I dislike Spock/Kirk and I don't really care for Kirk/Bones.
