It's a little frustrating, because Doctor Strange is one of my favorite superheroes and all the underlying concepts and themes and genre niches involved should make a film that I love. But the casting and story decisions just... make me pretty leery. I don't want to be! I hope it's brilliant!

I think the concept is v. cool and if it wasn't for half the cast, I'd be excited about it.

Unfortunately the trailers looks super, super generic. But trailers can be misleading, and the bits of special effects we saw were nicely trippy.

Same. I was so excited when it was first teased, but then Cumberbatch, and the story spoilers, and everything happened. Now, I just don't know anymore.

The trailer at least had a lot of great looking magic fx so I'll probably see it just for that.
