tbf a lot of people (including myself) have gas water heaters; in some places electric ones could be uncommon or unheard of

(or maybe anon just meant gas bill or water bill)

I don't know about anon, but my gas and electricity are on the same bill and I tend to refer to this as "the electric bill" even though that's not accurrate.
