I think the argument is that lesbians who read slash are definitionally not really interested in fucking men, and that therefore the same could be true of people who like the other genres.

But lesbians who read slash are getting off on two guys fucking. The scenario is sexually arousing - and since two guys having sex is still a "gay" scenario, it's not like it even lends itself to a woman wanting to have sex with a guy.

People who read shota are getting off on kids. Even if it's fictional, kiddie porn is kiddie porn and you are getting off on it.
