I've waited since the 70's for a Dr. Strange movie. I don't care about the problematic casting or Cumberbatch or anything at this point. I'm 50 years old and I've waited most of my life for a decently made film to replace the one we got in 1978. After the movie Thor screwed up the comic book canon, I realized that it was unlikely I would ever see a "straight from the comic" adaptation of any Marvel franchise so I'm disconnecting my criticism early. I've learned to love Thor for what it is and I've longed for Dr. Strange so... it is what it is.

I'm hoping from some great special effects and a couple hours of entertainment. If I get more than that, I'm going to be ecstatic.
