What were your issues with the show? I'm just curious because I am in such a love/hate relationship with it.

Oh man, I have so many...

I feel like TW does the characters (And audience) a disservice by completely forgetting plot points, character arcs, and skipping over what could be interesting character development. I think it's dumb that the show kills off half its cast then doesn't go to the trouble to show how everyone remaining deals with that. It feels shallow, and like terrible writing. I couldn't believe that after Allison died, there were about two brief mentions of her, and that was it. As far as I can remember, there was no discussion of how Stiles felt after being possessed by a nogitsune. It just... Doesn't make sense to me.

And sometimes the show feels like it's building towards something, but there's no payoff. I can't tell you the number of times when I felt there had to be more going on, then it turned out I was wrong; it can be so anticlimactic.

I think the final straw for me was that not only did I not like the story in S4, I also didn't like the way any of the cast was written, and with so many new faces I didn't care about, I just gave up.

You?
