After all my years of fandom I am still surprised there are Spongebob rape fics. I shouldn't be. I should know better by now.

Spongebob spends countless episodes stalking his neighbor so at this point I'm not too shocked.

I've only seen...maybe two episodes? I found the artwork ugly and the characters annoying. Imagining them raping each other is disgusting.

Gotta go look at cat pics to get that image out of my head.

I'm with you. My first thought when I saw this secret: There are Spongebob rape fics?

Second thought: ...I wonder if they're any good?

I've only seen an episode or two, back when the show was new, but it doesn't seem the type of show to produce rapefics. Apparently I haven't been in fandom long enough!

I wish the opposite for my fandom. Writers can't go three lines without beating the reader over the head with how much they both want it, they really, really want it, and look how very okay and not-problematic it is!

Healthy relationships aren't much of a thing in canon Spongebob, are they? Patrick and Spongebob enable each other, Spongebob infuriates Squidward, Mr. Krabs exploits Spongebob . . . Discounting biological relatives, the closest I can think of to a healthy pairing is Plankton and his AI servant.
