... do I keep wanting to do something dumb, like steal something, or vandalize something, or anything like that? I'm not even a teenager anymore (and I didn't do shit like that when I was) but now I want to.

It sounds like an impulse control issue. I hope this isn't too forward of me, but it could be a sign or symptom of mental illness. I know when I'm feeling anxious or depressed, I feel the urge to do something I wouldn't normally do.

Have you been under a lot of stress related to being an adult lately? That can make you want to go back to more immature times -- especially if you WEREN'T immature then.
