OH MY GOSH YES

I loved these two and their interactions so much, OP, and S3 broke my heart!


I'm much the same-- I don't go for many het ships, usually because TV writers push terribly written ones at the audience, and assume that two attractive people of the opposite sex is enough instead of bothering to build up a relationship between them. I loved that their relationship did build, that she was written as a whole person instead of a flat love interest...

... Come to think of it, whenever I ship a m/f pairing, it's because they're written the way that same-sex work partners/friends are written, and not as 'sexy man and sexy lady who are going to have all the sex', which is always kind of blah.
