30- It's ok, anytime I see a secret like your I know you're likely a shallow, anorexic douche. (Hypothetically you could not be anorexic. You could be normal weight, you could be self hating. But your secret prove 1 and 3)

34- Yes. I agree 100% On the flip side, I do think there are people who look to hard to find something to feel insulted about in a show/book/whatever.

43- I hate that to. There should have to be warning for something being gay unless it's gay and _____ (R rated, rape, death, wtfever you want warnings for)

51- If I hadn't already given that up as hopeless, you make a such a good point I might try again.

59. :( Now you mention it...I think I'm with you.

61- I really REALLY fail to see the secret in someone having a thing for Sasuke "I collect fan girls" Uchiha.

69- A...a place that votes out characters? Is that what that is?

Talk about sucking the fun out of RPing.

Re: 69, people write a sample post/sample app of the character they want to play in the RP, and then the game mods put the apps up for vote and let the players vote on how they like the app. 70 percent or above gets in, and anything less they have to try again if they want the character. It CAN be tedious and hard but it isn't that bad.

[identity profile] penguinfaery.livejournal.com 2008-04-04 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it got explained better. I thought it was like old rating comms (Old? IDK if they're around anymore) where you could get voted OUT after being in.

Uh, not really.

The secret is referring to campfuckudie's application process, which basically puts the fate of pending applications in the hands of all the members of the community to get the fairest result. 70% or more in votes means the character is accepted, anything below that means they have to try again.

AH! Ok, that's not as bad as I thought. I mean I know that can be nerve racking, but it's still FAIR.

I thought it was one of those thing where they voted people OUT after already being in a la rating communities.

Yeah, it got explained better. I thought it was like old rating comms (Old? IDK if they're around anymore) where you could get voted OUT after being in (Which always ended up being one bitch and her croonies rallying the troops to get someone they didn't like out)

...LOL deletion ftw. But anyways, yeah, I see what you mean, I didn't really articulate it well :/ Hence deletion.

Actually, we have people write small samples of -- I'm kidding, I'm kidding. ♥
