Uuuuugh I am wanting to play this game because it looks like so much fun, but I've never played a game like it before and am not sure my computer could run it. T_T But the character designs really drew me in, and I just want to play support characters and run around helping the fighters!

You can check SystemRequirementsLab.com to see if it'll run. I'm not much of a gamer/computer person, but it's always been accurate for me. You may want to get a second opinion from someone who's more well-versed in these things, however.

For Overwatch it's multiplayer only unfortunately. :( I'd love it if there was a solo campaign that helped expand the story but currently it's just a multiplayer team-based FPS.

Oh no! I admit, I'm a little nervous about that, because I know I would be VERY bad at first, and I want to practice a little to get the hang of it before going multiplayer. <.

The game has has a practice vs. ai mode you can use to get yourself comfortable with the characters! Even though they're just bots and not accurate to playing against real people, it's still good to check out just to figure out how the characters work, since the game doesn't spell out some of the skills all that well and some characters just aren't that intuitive. It also has a practice range against bots. There's also a custom game mode that lets you set things up however you like (specific maps, characters, match type) and it allows you to play against friends or bots. So you're not completely hung out to dry if you're new to the game! And it does try to pit you against similarly skilled players, so if you're level 1 you're not likely to be pit against someone who's level 90.

also heroes have different skill requirements - check out the one star ones, there's plenty that don't require a perfect aim for example!

I would probably play as Mercy first... I REALLY want to play as Lucio or maybe the robo-monk, but they both look harder, and I like being a healer!

the only thing that's disappointed me about the nsfw side of the genyatta fandom is that a semi-popular hc seems to be genji doesn't have a dick

Idk I'd actually be okay with that, cause I like the creativity of porn with characters that don't have genitals/have non human genitals.

I have been in too many fandoms where people just went like "oh this character who likely wouldn't have a dick cause of canon? Dick now. They can just grow a dick. Whatever, on to the bland porn."

I hate the ace = "pure" concept. Also wtf why would them having sex suddenly make it so that they're not at peace and comfortable with each other?

I agree with all of this. In general I think calling them "pure" rubs me the wrong way and I can't quite explain why. It might have to do with there being "trash" pairs and "pure" pairs, and pure pairings mean they have to be perfect, there never has to be any conflict and god forbid they are sexual.

(and I say this as a person who isn't interested in the sex part of his pairings)

Sort of unrelated, but I get so miffed when I see people ship Genji with literally anyone (no matter how cracky) but Zenyatta precisely because of the misguided belief that Genyatta can never be sexualized or sexually appealing. That, or the annoying "Zenyatta's a monk so he's celibate which means literally no romantic inclinations ever!!" reasoning.

While this may be the one pairing that I adore without even needing smut of it to feel satisfied, I understand where you're coming from, OP.
