Dream big, OP! I have very vivid dreams, and sometimes they are a fucking BLAST! (Other times they are awful. Like that time I hallucinated jump-scares all night. *shakes fist* Fuck you brain.)

I was on a medication that caused vivid dreams for a while but the way it worked out was that my mind dreamed up a new dystopian world every night. I wish I could remember better. There were some neat ideas in there that I could write about.

Oh man, I've had a few dreams with really awesome worlds that I'll be writing about someday. I think the cool thing about using dream-worlds is that if you manage to ground them properly, you end up with something that's just a little weird, but in a really good way, because your brain makes connections you might not have when awake.

All my recent dreams have been stupid, though :/ probably because I haven't been sleeping well.

I recently had an INCREDIBLY long-winded nightmare that, every time I woke up and then went back to sleep, only got more elaborate in plot structure. It was a zombie apocalypse in four acts that once I got over the sheer aggro of such an awful night's sleep, thought was kind of a cool idea.

(The basic premise was that the zombies weren't dead, or even distinguishable from anyone else once they got over their initial incubation period. It just made them want to eat human flesh in vast quantities, and completely removed any sense that doing so was objectionable. And then they became the majority of the population.)

I remember I had weird and vivid dreams coming off of anesthetics after I had surgery once, but now I don't recall what the dreams were. On the other hand, that surgery was 15 years ago so, *shrug*.
