Why was Stewart fired again? Sorry, I don't pay much attention to celebrity gossip.

(Anonymous) 2016-07-28 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
She had an affair with the director.

Who was also fired.

(Anonymous) 2016-07-28 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
She wasn't. According to her, she didn't like the script and opted out. The sequel went on without her.

(Anonymous) 2016-07-28 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't believe her.

She wasn't. She said the script was trash and wanted no part of it, which it kinda was. I still enjoyed it for the stupid fantasy movie it was though.

There were rumors around that she was fired cause of having an affair with the old director but her and surrounding people debunked that.

I just googled it, and all I can find is Kristen Stewart talking trash about it and saying how she doesn't care and she's so relieved she's not part of it. In other words, typical Kristen Stewart uppity obnoxiousness.

Kristen Stewart is great

(Anonymous) 2016-07-28 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
You mean "great" in the Trump sense of the word, right?

NAYRT:

Well, she is white.

Very, very white.

That movie was fun (also the dwarf romances were sooo cute).

You're not a bad feminist for liking a different actress better in the franchise.

KStew is allowed not to like the project, and you're allowed to like the project, and it's all OK.

I haven't seen the second film, but I did see the first. Although they had some really good actors in the first film, it just did not come together, and it became painfully obvious that Kristen Stewart was either entirely wrong for the role, or she just can't act. Actually, maybe she just has a Keanu Reeves-level of limited range, and this film was outside her abilities.

So, not surprised to hear that the second film worked better with Emily Blunt in the mix rather than Kristen Stewart.

KStew was atrocious in the first one. The movie was bad in general but, while Charlize Theron was goddess enough to justify a second movie just to give her scenery to chew (and devour), KStew nearly wrecked everything because she was so damn awful.

Also, Chris Hemsworth was an absolute nothing in that movie. I think he maybe took his shirt off and that was the only reason for him to be there.

There's nothing bad or unfeminist about that. These are two different things. You can think the reason Kristen was fired is awful and sexist and still maintain the preference for the changes made.
