Which is why I will never get a fandom tattoo.
I can't abide the idea of perminently marking my body with something and then finding out the actor/writer/creator is a piece of filth.

And it sucks because I reaaaallly want the Dethklok gear on the back of my neck, and "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub" all abstract and shit. But what if Brandon Small, Justin Royland or Dan Harmon become abusers or racists or scientologists or kill someone or something?

just do what I do and only get fandom tattoos for fandoms where the creator has been dead for over 100 years

If only, but all the fandoms that give me emotional resonance are contemporary with the exception of some 90's stuff, and Jim Henson.

Also, didn't the whole Marrion Zimmer Bradley Child Molestation thing come out publicly after her death? Also the Jimmy Savill thing. No one is safe!

See luckily I am mostly a big literature english major nerd so its like... most of that stuff people already know how those people sucked. So I feel pretty comfortable getting my Shakespeare tattoo. That old fandom life.
